Viewing Department of Classics

Classics studies the ancient Greek and Roman cultures around the Mediterranean basin, examining their languages, literature, history, religion, myth, philosophy, art and archaeology. We also offer hands-on exploration through our archaeological digs, or an international field placement.  Classics teaches a wider appreciation of human values and achievements, and a more objective understanding of ourselves and our times.

Your gift will allow us to continue to offer quality programs and resources to our students.
