Established by the members of Science '54 and given in appreciation of the effort of Fred Siemonsen, Science '54, and his wife, Mary Lou Siemonsen. Awarded to a student in the Faculty of Applied Science on the basis of financial need.

The class of Commerce 2007 is fundraising to create an award in memory of Darren James Bishop, BCom 2007, for students in the Smith School of Business.
