Queen's Annual Appeal: School of Rehabilitation Therapy

Donate to Queen's Annual Appeal: School of Rehabilitation Therapy

The Rehabilitation Therapy Student Experience Fund is used to enable our students to take advantage of opportunities that they may not otherwise participate in as they prepare to become rehabilitation professionals and scientists. Through the Fund, students travel to conferences and are given opportunities to learn from international peers, practice presentation skills, develop clinical skills and establish collaborations with others.

Alumni who have started their careers appreciate the opportunity they had to present at a conference during their time at Queen’s. Charlotte, for example, graduated in 2016 shares her experience at the Moving Forward Together: Advancing Rehabilitation in a Global Health Context 2016 Conference at McGill University. She shares, “When leaving the conference, I reflected on how I could help to use my clinical skills to assist individuals on a global level as well as how much I enjoyed the knowledge translation component of research. I’m fortunate to have had this opportunity while at Queen’s and I believe it has helped me in my practice today.”

Your gift makes a real difference to our students and their future career paths.
