Established by Margaret Angus, LLD 1973, to fund the conservation, research and exhibition of the Collection of Canadian Dress in the collection of the Agnes Etherington Art Centre.

Donations for art acquisitions and expense of art purchases.

  The Alfred and Isabel Bader Curator of European Art   Add to Gift Basket  
Established by Alfred and Isabel Bader in support of a curatorial position in European Art in the Agnes Etherington Art Centre.

  The Archives Compact Shelving Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Queen's Archives is the home of important original artifacts and documents. Appropriate space is critical for preservation and conservation efforts. Shelving built for archival material will be created in storage vaults to ease the current space crunch.

Revenues and expenses relating to the general administration of the Art Centre.

  The Arts '53 Queen's Bands   Add to Gift Basket  
Established by the class of Arts 1953 to support ongoing Bands activities and/or the maintenance of equipment and uniforms.

Established to support all aspects of the Bader International Study Centre in attracting students, supporting student initiatives, faculty initiatives and developing facilities. Funds to be used at the discretion of the Executive Director, Bader ISC.

  The Bader ISC ThankQ Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Bader ISC students will raise funds for the Bader ISC ThankQ Fund to support the Bader International Study Centre. Each year a new project will be selected through consultation with the class representatives and the Executive Director, Bader ISC.

  The Baillie Awards for Excellence in Secondary School Teaching   Add to Gift Basket  
Established by A. Charles Baillie to enable students graduating from Queen's to honor educators who, during the students' high school careers, set them upon the course which brought them first to Queen's and subsequently to graduation.

  The Ban Righ Capital Campaign   Add to Gift Basket  
Established to provide operating expenses at the Ban Righ Centre, at the discretion of the Director, Ban Righ Centre.

  The Ban Righ Centre for Mature Women Students   Add to Gift Basket  
This fund supports The Ban Righ Centre which is uniquely geared to assist women of all ages returning to study at Queen's after a time away from formal education or starting for the first time when mature.

A book prize to be established by colleagues and friends on the occasion of Barbara Schlafer's retirement from Queen's University to honour her many years of valued service.

Established for regular yearly maintenance of trees and benches, which have been erected or planted as a result of gifts to the University in memory of certain individuals.

Established by Bert Wasmund and Eric Wasmund to support an annual mentorship event for the recipients of The Wasmund Family Memorial Scholars Award and The Bert Wasmund Scholarship for Sustainable Energy Research.

To support the Leonard and Reva Brooks core art and photography collection, an important archival textual and photographic collection portraying their international artistic life; to disseminate and promote Canadian art.

Established to beautify Queen's University campus.

For technological aids and the development of computerized systems. To provide Queen's students with the best possible access to information, programs and services that will assist them in their transitions to work or to further education.

  The Chancellor A Charles Baillie Teaching Award   Add to Gift Basket  
Established in honour of A. Charles Baillie by the Toronto-Dominion Bank to recognize a faculty member whose teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level has had an outstanding influence on the quality of student learning.

  The Chancellor Richardson Memorial Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Funds for the aquisition of teaching and research material in the field of Canadian Studies within the following categories: a) Published works of older out-of-print vintage; (b) Documentary Materials; (c) French-Canadian Material; (d) old, rare items

  The Chaplain's Trust Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
The Chaplain's Trust Fund was established by Padre Laverty to assist students experiencing financial difficulty. It helps students dealing with a sudden or serious shortfall of funds needed for items such as: groceries, rent or medical/dental expenses.

  The Eilidh Balkwill Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Established in November 2009 by the Estate of Eilidh Balkwill to provide funding for women's residences at Queen's University.

  The Ellen O'Rourke Merrin Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Established in 2009 in honour of Ellen O'Rourke Merrin, B.A. '39, by her Queen's friends, in appreciation of her generous contributions to the life of the University. Funds will be used in support of The Ellen Merrin Kitchen at the Ban Righ Centre.

Established to support discretionary support for the Director, Four Directions Aboriginal Student Centre (FDASC).

  The Frances K Smith Lecture in Canadian Art   Add to Gift Basket  
Established by Frances K. Smith, Arts'56 to promote the study and appreciation of Canadian art. Ideally, funding is for specialists in Canadian art to deliver an annual public lecture at Queen's, and where appropriate to work with students and faculty.

  The Franks Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Established by C.E.S. Franks, B.A. 1959, M.A. 1965, and Daphne Franks (a) to assist in the purchase of works on paper (b) to support curatorial work associated with works on paper, and (c) to support the other purposes of the Agnes Etherington Art Centre.

  The Geraldine Grace and Maurice Alvin McWatters Visiting Fellowship   Add to Gift Basket  
Established in honour of Geraldine Grace and Maurice Alvin McWatters by Cheryl McWatters, MBA 1988, PhD 1991, and John MacDiarmid, BSc 1978, MSc 1987, to create a visiting fellowship in Queen's Archives

Established in honour of Dr. Herbert Wm Greenidge, former staff member in Student Health Services. The fund is to support staff activities across the Department. These include book purchases, and support for frontline staff in attending staff functions.

Established to document the history and stories of individuals who have been presented with Honorary Degrees from Queen's University. The goal is to produce a Coffee Table Book which will document this interesting aspect of University history.

Funds to acquire equipment, furnishings and services to maintain or improve the current QUIC facilities. In providing a comfortable and inviting environment, the Centre creates a "home away from home" for a multitude of students and visitors each year.

Established by members of the Queen's and Kingston communities in support of International Education Programs for international and study abroad students.

  The Iva Speers Fund for Art Education (AEAC)   Add to Gift Basket  
Established by Iva Speers' estate to promote creativity and enhance experience through art education at the Agnes Etherington Art Centre. Funds are directed to accessible art education, and to offer the public the opportunity to explore their creativity.

  The Jack Project @ Queen's   Add to Gift Basket  
The Jack Project @ Queen's is focused on mental health awareness & promotion, stigma reduction, recognizing signs of struggle, help-seeking and helping behavior, and highlighting youth-inspired opportunities that deal with the subject of mental health.

  The Jamie Walker Adaptive Technology Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Established by Janice and Colin Walker in honour of their son, Jamie Walker, BA(Hons) '11, to purchase equipment for the Adaptive Technology Centre in support of students with special needs and disabilities at Queen's University.

  The Janet Faddies Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Established by Janet Faddies Maclachlan and Donald Lorne Cameron Maclachlan in memory of Janet Maclachlan's grandmother, Janet Faddies. Awarded to a student(s) at the discretion of the Director, Ban Righ Foundation.

  The Jean MacLean Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Established in June 2008 by Doug MacLean in honour of his wife Jean MacLean to provide support for general operation of the Ban Righ Centre.

  The Mary and Jim Courtright Student Awd   Add to Gift Basket  
Established in honour of Mary and Jim Courtright. Awarded to students in second, third, or fourth year in any Faculty or School on the basis of student activity involvement, with preference to a Track and Field or Queen's Debating Union member.

  The McNally Endowment for the Stewardship of University Avenue   Add to Gift Basket  
The McNally Family Endowment Fund for the Stewardship of University Avenue was established for the ongoing maintenance and renewal of University Avenue upon the completion of the rehabilitation described in the 2002 Queen's University Campus Plan.

  The Phil Koven Memorial Fund for the Agnes Etherington Art Centre   Add to Gift Basket  
Established in March 2010 in memory of Phil Koven by Merle Koven to be used for conservation treatment of Canadian historical works of art in the permanent collection of the Agnes Etherington Art Centre.

  The Project Green Tree Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Established in 1980 by Project Green to be used for the purchase of trees for Queen's University. Such trees may be used in landscaping or to replace moribund trees. Only the purchase cost of trees may be met by this fund.

  The QUAA Projects Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Established by the Queen's University Alumni Association to support QUAA initiatives at the discretion of the QUAA President and the Associate Vice-Principal (Alumni Relations).

  The Queen's Centre   Add to Gift Basket  
The Queen's Centre is a state-of-the-art student life centre with an expanded Athletics and Recreation Centre, student club space, food court and much more. The facility is the new hub of student life on campus. www.queensu.ca/queenscentre

Established to cover travel and other related expenses for the Queen's Debating Union.

  The Queen's University Sustainability Trust   Add to Gift Basket  
Gifts will be used to research and respond to new sustainability initiatives on campus as proposed by the Sustainability Office, faculty, staff, students or alumni, as well as to enhance existing practices which support sustainability at Queen's.

  The R M Baltzan Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Established in memory of Ronald M. Baltzan, BA'56, to support maintenance and repair of outdoor art at the University as well as other activities connected with acquisition and maintenance.

  The Rectors Trust Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
To provide emergency monetary assistance to both undergraduate and graduate students.The general goal of the fund will be to serve a broad number of students with smaller financial needs as opposed to providing large amounts.

  The Resources Fund for Adaptive Technologies and Disability Services Centers   Add to Gift Basket  
The Resources Fund for Adaptive Technologies and Disability Services Centers was established to provide ongoing support for both the Adaptive Technologies and Disability Services Centers.

  The Rita Friendly Kaufman Lecture   Add to Gift Basket  
Established in honour of Rita Friendly Kaufman. Speakers will be noted figures on the field of the visual arts and culture, of broad interest to the Queen's and Kingston communities, and will be invited by the Director of the Art Centre.

  The Silvia N Spaidal Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Established in October 2007 by Silvia Spaidal for the acquisition, installation and related costs of Site Art at Queen's University.

  The Staff Development Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Established by Queen's staff members to support activities and projects which are of benefit to, provide recognition and enrichment for, and promote excellence among, the members of the general staff of Queen's University.

  The Student Health and Wellness Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Established in support of student health and wellness for overall physical and mental health promotion, illness prevention, anti-stigma, education and awareness, inclusivity, transitions, resilience, facilities, programming, counselling and peer support.

To support the Student Health Services Clinic.

  The Summerhill Enhancement Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Funding from an anonymous donor to be used exclusively on specific projects of maintenance and repair to Summerhill. This is not to be used for routine maintenance or the purchase of office furniture.

  The Walter & Duncan Gordon Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Grants from the Walter & Duncan Gordon Foundation for acquisitions, which are matched by the Gallery Association, for the purchase of art works.

  The Willet G Miller Fund   Add to Gift Basket  
Established in 1970 by the Estates of Willet Green Miller (LLD 1907) and Nancy Miller (BA 1924) to be used at the discretion of the University.
