The Department of Biology is one of the largest academic units at Queen's, training hundreds of undergraduate and graduate students annually, and engaging in leading edge research in molecular and cell biology, animal and plant physiology, proteomics and genomics, paleolimnology, developmental biology, plant biochemistry, conservation biology, and ecology and evolutionary biology.
