Viewing Department of Film and Media

Film and Media at Queen’s offers programs of study in the art, expression, persuasive powers, and the practice of moving-image media. Now housed at the Isabel, a brand-new performing arts complex on the Lake Ontario shore, the Film department has existed for more than forty years, while remaining contemporary in examining the history and current state of the media.Drawing from a wide range of approaches and disciplines, students keep pace with the rapidly evolving galaxy of modern communication, entertainment, and information.

Your gifts to Film and Media have enabled equipment purchase, visiting speakers, and they have underwritten student-organized activities.

Your generosity helps to enhance current students’ educational experience and to fuel their future.
