The Meds 1964 Bev Lynn Memorial Bursary 

Established in July 2011 by the Medicine Class of 1964 leading up to their 50th reunion in 2014 and in memory of classmates and Dr. R. Bev Lynn, Honorary Class President and former Professor of Surgery at Queen's. The Bursary is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to undergraduate students in any year of the School of Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences, with preference given to students in their first year.

The capital balance of the Meds 1964 Bev Lynn Memorial Bursary was $92,305 as of April 30, 2022. The capital balance was ranked 18th out of 42 endowed class funds in the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Since its inception, the Meds 1964 Bev Lynn Memorial Bursary has disbursed $35,300 to 14 medical students with demonstrated financial need at Queen's.
