the Faculty of Education Aboriginal Initiatives Fund will be used at the discretion of the Dean of the Faculty of Education for the design and innovation of Aboriginal teaching and learning programs in the Faculty of Education

the Indigenous Teacher Education Practicum Award
Established by Nancy Gray, BA'77, and William Gray. Awarded on the basis of financial need and academic achievement to students in the Diploma or Bachelor of Education programs pursuing a practicum placement within a First Nations or provincial school.

the Walter F. Light Graduate Fellowships in Education
Established by gifts from Walter F Light, Sc'49, LL.D'81, and by gifts made in his memory. Awarded on the basis of academic achievement and financial need to full-time students in graduate programs offered by the Faculty of Education.

Established in honour of Barbara Crook, Artsci'79, to support the costs associated with bringing a practicing artist to campus annually to lead a workshop or present a lecture to enrolled ACE students.

Funds will be used to invite retirees and Kingston life-long-learners to the Faculty of Education to experience a Queen's education. If the funding minimum is not reached, donations will be redirected to the Community Initiatives Fund in the Faculty.

Awarded on the basis of need, academic achievement, and extra-curricular activities to graduates of Ridgeway and Crystal Beach High School or high schools in New Brunswick Anglophone South School District who are entering first year undergrad.

Established by the Hajee Family and awarded to funding eligible undergraduate or graduate students in the Faculty of Education pursuing a three-week alternative practicum or research/development project in Africa.

Established in memory of William T. MacClement, B.A. 1888, M.A. 1889, LLD 1937 (Honorary), to support an annual lecture series in the Faculty of Education.

Established by John R. McCarthy, BA'43, LLD'67. Awarded to a graduating student leader who has made a personal contribution to Queen's, shown fondness for sport, and who will attend the Faculty of Education in the fall immediately following graduation.

Established by the estate of Donna Rediger, B.A. 1960, and awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic achievement to students in the Masters of Education program in the Faculty of Education.

the Technological Education Facility Renovation Fund
Donations will be used to purchase needed equipment and to assist in the renovation of the Technological Education Workshop Facility.

Donations will support the projects of the current UNESCO chair in Arts and Learning in the short term. The Faculty of Education has a long-term goal of creating an endowed UNESCO chair in Arts and Learning.

the Neil Yorke-Slader and Nepean All City Jazz Bursary
Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to undergraduate students in any year of study in a Bachelor of Education degree program. Preference will be given to students pursuing instrumental or vocal music as a teaching subject.

Established by a bequest from the estate of John Deakin Buckley Walton. Awarded to the student graduating in the Intermediate-Secondary stream or Technological Education in the Faculty of Education who has demonstrated excellence in student teaching.
