The Department of Gender Studies is a dynamic program that offers undergraduate and graduate students an inclusive, interdisciplinary education that focuses on issues of equity, power and social justice with an emphasis on women's experiences. We explore how gender intersects with race, class, sexual orientation, age, and ability to create systems of inequities that shape human experiences across cultures and nations.  Our grads go on to careers in medicine, law, education, politics and social services.
