Science '90
We did it — Sci ’90 has successfully joined Sci ’70 in the first-of-its-kind partnership at Queen’s! The new fund is called the “Science ’70 and Science ’90 Student Initatives Fund” which supports engineering student projects at Queen’s like QRET (Queen’s Rocket Engineering Team). It is the first time two graduating classes have officially united, and we now have a governance platform to direct our funds and make a much more targeted impact. We need ongoing support from our class in funding, but also in fostering relationships and mentoring.
Look for ongoing class email newsletters with details about upcoming events and ways to connect & contribute; please contact Stephanie Lunitz, Senior Development Officer for Smith Engineering if you aren’t already included on this distribution list. We hope to include everyone in what we have planned for the future and how we can come together as a class, either remotely or in person.
Our fund is a great example of alumni collaboration in action! Thanks to all those who have contributed thus far!
