Reunion: We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Homecoming Weekend in Kingston on October 14-16, 2016 with 36 members of our class. It was wonderful to see so many of our class and catch up with our friends! We look forward to seeing even more of our class join us for our 30th reunion.
Class Gift: With law school tuition now exceeding $20,000 per year, financial aid is more important than ever. To commemorate our reunion, we have launched a class campaign with the goal of raising $50,000 over the next five years in order to establish a new endowed bursary, the “Law ’91 Bursary” in time for our 30th anniversary in 2021. The bursary will be awarded to a student in any year of the J.D. program or joint J.D. program on the basis of financial need. Our goal is to help ensure that no qualified student is unable to attend Queen’s Law for financial reasons.
We would like to pay tribute to the memory of our dear friend and classmate, Doug Stuve, in the calendar terms for the Bursary. Doug sadly passed away in November 2017 and many of us saw Doug for the last time at our 25th reunion. Please contact a committee member if you are opposed to this.
Donations of all amounts are welcome and can be made with a single payment gift or a multi-year pledge with payments spread over a maximum of 5 years. All donations are fully tax deductible/receiptable.If you would like to discuss the class campaign, please feel free to contact one of us.
