In Memory of Anne Mellor
Anne and her family were all deeply rooted in Queen’s Football Golden Gaels history. Anne was a loyal fan for 71 years. Wally Mellor (husband) was a player from 1951-1954 and an assistant coach with the team from 1968 (Vanier Cup)-1971, and from 1979-1981.
Laurie (daughter) continues to follow the team closely as a fan and Rick (son) was a member of the Gaels Football team in the 1980’s. Jeff (son) was a waterboy for the Vanier Cup team in 1968, and is presently Equipment Manager with the team – he has been associated with the Queen’s Football program for 50 years.
Memorial contributions may be made to Queen’s University in support of the Football Program in memory of Anne Mellor.
